Welcome to Tri Boer Goats.  We are The
Pooles, Roddy, Rhonda, Brandt, Hagen and
Tayton.   We are located just south of Welsh
in southwest Louisiana.
We began our lives with goats in 1994 with the
purchase of some nubian / spanish cross
goats.  To clean up some property and for
Brandt to practice goat flipping.
A few years later the 4-H club in our area
announced that they were going to start
having wether goats in the shows.  Our show
career began.  Brandt enjoyed showing and
became a excellent showman.  Which in turn
encouraged Daddy.  Brandt needed better
goats!  
Several years later we purchased a Top Brass
son from Rocking R, we named RRD Double
Barrel.  That first set of kids that following
year put us on the map.  Brandt won many
shows in the wether ring as well as the
breeding shows for many years.
We sold Double Barrel, Big Mistake!  It wasn't
until 2005 that we purchased a buck from
Lazy L we called Lazy L Full Throttle.  Full
Throttle went on to become the 2006
Louisiana State Grand Champion Buck.  
Things with our breeding program really
began to move forward again.  
In 2007 we purchased Lazy L FULL
IMPACT and could not be more satisfied with
the quality of kids we are getting.  Brandt
showed FULL IMPACT at nationals and
won 2007 JABGA National Reserve
Champion.
We have flushed our percentage does as well
as full blood does.  We strive to make the
fanciest, packed full of muscle boer goat we
can make.
The BOYS show what they can and we sell
the rest!
